CLIVE TILLEY - President and CEO

Clive Tilley began his gaming career in his native London, England, in the mid 70’s working for the Playboy Club and the Victoria Sporting Club.

In 1979 he moved to the United States to work as Operations Manager for Atlantic Associates Ltd, then the largest maritime casino concessionaire with over 25 casino concessions on multiple cruise lines. This would be the beginning of his 25 plus years of management experience in the casino, hospitality and cruise industry.

In 1985 he joined a Swiss-owned casino concessionaire, Tiber Entertainment Group, as Chief Operating Officer. He expanded the base of operations from five to twelve cruise ship casino concessions including Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) and increased gaming revenues from $12 million to $21 million – an 80% increase. The NCL casino concession included the then largest cruise ship in the world, the SS Norway.

In 1991, Clive Tilley created a management-consulting firm, Ocean Gaming Consultants, specializing in the maritime gaming industry. His company was successful in securing the casino concession rights of the largest offshore gaming vessel in the U.S. - Discovery I. The casino generated revenues in excess of $12 million annually. His company also launched the first U.S. flag vessel for cruises to nowhere, which generated revenues in excess of $6 million annually.

In 1993 Clive Tilley merged his company with Gold Star International (GSI) and was successful in expanding operating revenues in excess of $50 million. In 1996, GSI developed and operated the first gaming vessel from New York City.

In 1996, while continuing with maritime gaming, he established a management consultancy company Tilley Entertainment, to consult to the broader gaming industry and pursue new global business development opportunities, primarily in emerging gaming markets. He is considered to be an expert in gaming for the cruise line industry and gaming development in Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Since 2000, Clive Tilley has led Tilley Entertainment into a number of current partnerships and operating agreements, under which the company operates two of the largest most successful land based casinos in their respective countries, Casino De Paris in Moscow, Russia, and Casino Maruma, in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Presently Tilley Entertainment continues to expand into Latin American and Eastern European gaming markets, and has recently opened new operations in Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia where its reputation for professionalism, transparency and excellence are well received by players and business partners alike.

Clive Tilley regularly is invited to speak at international gaming conferences such G2E, IMGL (International Masters of Gaming Law), EEEG (Eastern European Gaming Summit).

He holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami, Florida and speaks fluent Spanish.

Within the gaming industry, Clive Tilley is considered to be a true gaming professional of high integrity with an entrepreneurial spirit.
